Pauline Fulton Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Pauline Fulton Memorial Scholarship, managed by the Kearney Area Community Foundation, supports students accepted into the UNMC College of Nursing in Kearney, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Awarded by the Scholarship Committee, this $1,050 scholarship is divided into two $525 disbursements at the start of the fall and spring semesters. Preference is given to graduates from Nebraska high schools, particularly those from Sherman County.

The Kearney Area Community Foundation's vision is to maintain a philanthropic culture to assure that donors and the community are served in an atmosphere of trust and professionalism which will, in turn, allow the Kearney Area Community Foundation to make a meaningful and positive impact on the residents of our community, now and in the future.
The Kearney Area Community Foundation manages 69 scholarship funds one of which is the Pauline Fulton Memorial Scholarship.
The Pauline Fulton Memorial Scholarship is specifically for students accepted into the College of Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) – Kearney Division, pursuing a traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Scholarship Award
The winner of this scholarship is selected by the Scholarship Committee of the University of Nebraska Medical Center – Kearney Division. This $1,050 scholarship is awarded in two disbursements. One $525 payment at the beginning of the fall semester and one $525 payment at the beginning of the spring semester.

Eligibility

Must be a past graduate of a Nebraska high school.
Must be ACCEPTED into the UNMC College of Nursing Kearney Division - Traditional BSN program.Recipients are eligible to reapply for additional scholarships in subsequent academic years if academic progress is satisfactory and financial need is demonstrated.
