Paul Lauzier Scholarship The Paul Lauzier Scholarship Foundation was created pursuant to the Last Will and Testament of Paul Lauzier. Scholarships are awarded annually to graduating seniors and alumni of Grant County, Washington high schools who attend a college or vocational school within the state of Washington. Students obtaining master’s degrees or any degree beyond an undergraduate are also eligible for scholarship awards. Students pursuing a trades or any type of vocational technical education are encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants must also reside in Grant County at the time of high school graduation. Scholastic achievement is part of the evaluation process, but it is not a controlling factor. Traits such as community and school involvement, integrity, leadership, and work ethic are strongly considered. The Foundation closely evaluates the quality of curriculum each applicant is taking. Other factors include the caliber of the personal statement, letter of recommendation, and the overall quality of the completed application. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and do not automatically renew. Prior recipients must reapply and compete with new applicants each year.Eligibility
