Paul E. Henkin School Psychology Travel Grant

The Paul E. Henkin School Psychology Travel Grant, offered by the American Psychological Foundation, provides up to $1,500 for student members of APA Division 16. This funding helps cover registration, lodging, and travel expenses for attending the APA Annual Convention. It encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and requires a commitment to a career in school psychology. Eligible applicants must be current student members of APA Division 16 and cannot use the funds for food or materials not included in registration.

APF is a grant-making foundation that funds early career psychologists and graduate students using psychology to solve important problems and improve people’s lives.
This grant provides support of up to $1,500 to defer the costs of registration, lodging and travel for student members of APA Division 16 to attend the APA Annual Convention.
Student Affiliates in School Psychology (SASP) is a student-led organization for doctoral and specialist students pursuing a career in school psychology. Individual student members as well as university chapters have access to the many benefits of SASP.

Eligibility

Applicants must:be student members of APA Division 16 at the time of application submission.
have a demonstrated commitment to the pursuit of a school psychology career.
You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.

Ineligibility

Grant monies may not be used for food, drink or any materials that are not included in the registration fee.Those receiving any APA travel reimbursement for convention attendance are ineligible.
