Overview

The APF Impact APF is a grant-making foundation that funds early career psychologists and graduate students using psychology to solve important problems and improve people’s lives. Practice Based Evidence Fund Grant The purpose of the Practice Based Evidence Fund grant is to support psychologists and trainees who are primarily affiliated with community mental health settings, private practice settings, or other local outpatient settings. One annual grant is available to support efforts to document, evaluate, or implement practices in those settings. This grant is meant to provide the initial resources to support novel research in these settings. Applicants may submit one of two types of project proposals: Projects to evaluate clinical practice. Successful proposals will describe the identified innovation and a proposal for how to evaluate the effectiveness of that innovation. Projects to implement evidence-based practices in typical practice. Proposals in this area will seek to evaluate clinical care and implementation of evidence-based practices. The desired recipient will have primarily worked in clinical settings.International applicants from countries that have diplomatic relations with the United States and who meet the other eligibility requirements may apply for APF funding.
