Overview
Paul DeMartinis Scholarship
Funder: Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS)
Purpose: This scholarship honors the late Paul DeMartinis, a longtime friend of PBATS, Major League Baseball, and the athletic training profession. DeMartinis was the former Director of Sales and Marketing for Medco Sports Medicine and worked closely with PBATS members.

Award: Scholarship to help pay for college tuition
History: First awarded in 2016; over 80 applications received in the inaugural year. Winners chosen through random drawing at MLB Winter Meetings.
