Overview
The Paul A. Stewart Grants, offered by the Wilson Ornithological Society, support research on bird movements and economic ornithology. Named in honor of Alexander Wilson, the Father of American Ornithology, the Society publishes a quarterly journal of ornithology, The Wilson Journal of Ornithology, and holds annual meetings.
Preference will be given to proposals for studies of bird movements (based on banding, radio or satellite telemetry, or similar methods) or an emphasis on economic ornithology. Up to four awards of $2000 are given annually.
