Pasco L. Schiavo Grants The Pasco L. Schiavo Fund of The Luzerne Foundation was formed for the purpose of making grant distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations, specifically to promote primarily educational projects and other humanitarian projects in and throughout the Greater Hazleton community which is presently demarcated by the school district borders of the Hazleton Area School District and the Weatherly Area School District. The Pasco L. Schiavo Grants are in three categories: Pasco L. Schiavo Microgrants, Pasco L. Schiavo Impact Grant, and Pasco L. Schiavo Forum Grant. 2025 Pasco L. Schiavo Microgrants The Luzerne Foundation is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for nonprofits serving the greater Hazleton and Weatherly areas to apply for microgrants from the Pasco L. Schiavo Fund of The Luzerne Foundation. These grants are designed to support organizations working on projects that directly benefit the local community.Eligibility
