Overview

About Us The Parsons Area Community Foundation (PACF) is a unique charity focused on local community improvement through grants and community leadership. Donors have a flexible, accountable, and impactful way to make one-time, repeat and estate-based charitable gifts. We can direct these gifts to support specific charities, a certain area of charitable interest, or to unrestricted funds used by the board for addressing identified community needs. The Foundation is governed by a board of involved citizens committed to improving local quality of life. PACF Mini Grants The Pete & Mary Hughes Impact Fund for Mini-grants was established in 2024 through a generous gift from Pete and Mary Hughes, lifetime volunteers for the Parsons Area. This fund celebrates and supports the work of Parsons area citizens in making our communities stronger today and for future generations. The purpose of the mini-grant program is to provide financial support to non-profit projects within a 25-mile radius of Parsons. These grants are intended to assist non-profits in implementing or completing projects or initiatives that will have a positive impact on the community. Mini-grant awards will typically be $2,500 or less per organization per calendar year. However, maximum and minimum mini-grant awards will be determined at the discretion of the PACF Board of Directors and will vary based on need, impact, and available funding.
