OTEC-EOU Rural Scholarship

Geographic Scope: Baker, Grant, Harney, and Union counties in Eastern Oregon

Award: Four scholarships covering all tuition and fees for four years at Eastern Oregon University (EOU)

Focus Areas: General education at Eastern Oregon University with internship requirement

Eligibility:

  • Must be an active OTEC member or dependent/tenant of an OTEC member

  • Graduating high school seniors planning to attend EOU

  • Must commit to graduating from EOU

  • Must complete annual internships with OTEC throughout the 4 years

    • Program Details:

  • This is the sixth consecutive year of this partnership between OTEC and EOU

  • Recipients gain valuable experience completing internship projects with OTEC throughout their 4 years

  • EOU matches OTEC's investment in this program

  • Based on application, letters of recommendation, academic performance, and community/club involvement

    • Funding Source: Donations and unclaimed capital credits
