Opportunities For All (OFA) - Summer Internship Program

Overview: The OFA Summer Internship program provides a win-win opportunity for local employers to have representative interns for the summer while providing bright, talented, future leaders with the opportunity to broaden their exposure to the professional work world.

Geographic Scope: Sarasota/Manatee region, Florida

Program Details:

  • Fully funded employer participation

  • Employers are fully funded for their internship participation

  • Contributes to overall growth of the community and economy

    • Program Impact (Previous Year):

  • Successfully matched 30 skilled interns with 19 local employers

  • 5 interns were offered and accepted permanent positions within their respective organizations

    • Program Status:

  • Currently CLOSED - Application period has closed due to overwhelming interest

  • Waiting list available for those still interested in potential future opportunities

    • Funding Source: Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation
