Operation Round Up® Grant Program

Funder: Stearns Electric Association Trust

Geographic Scope: Central Minnesota service territory (Stearns, Todd, Morrison, Kandiyohi, Pope, and Douglas counties)

Program Purpose: Recognizes and supports local organizations, non-profits, and community groups that have demonstrated a strong commitment to improving their communities.

Award Details:

Local Award: $500 prize and plaque to local winner

Statewide Competition: Local winners are automatically entered into the statewide Minnesota Touchstone Energy Community Award competition

Statewide Award: Additional $1,000 awarded to statewide winner

Selection Timeline: Statewide winner selected at Minnesota Rural Electric Association's annual meeting in St. Paul every March

Focus Areas: Community service, non-profit work, social services, victim support services, military support, and community engagement

Eligibility: Non-profit organizations, community groups, and businesses operating within Stearns Electric's service territory

Selection Process:

Applications reviewed by Operation Round Up coordinator

Six finalists selected from applicant pool

One local winner selected as Touchstone Energy Community Award recipient

Local winner automatically entered for statewide consideration
