Award Details:

• Total funding available: $95,000
• Minimum grant award: $150
• Maximum grant award: $4,000
• Award type: Proportionally matched grant (not dollar-for-dollar match)
• Awards based on: Number of participating food shelves and amount each food shelf raised in July
• Match calculation: Proportional match up to $4,000

How It Works:

1. Food shelves participate in fundraising challenge during month of July
2. During July, each food shelf fundraises
3. Hunger Solutions provides proportionally matched grant awards based on:
   • How many food shelves participate
   • How much each food shelf raised in July

Eligibility:

• Food Shelf Members of Hunger Solutions Minnesota only
• Food shelves must be current members

Timeline:

• Application deadline: June 30, 2022 (for 2023 challenge)
