Overview

NOTE: Requests $5,000 or less can be submitted any time online and are reviewed quarterly. If a requestor has not received a decision notification or a change of status online, the request is being held to be considered for a future quarterly review. Requests greater than $5,000 are reviewed at the ONEOK Foundation quarterly board meetings in March, June, September and December. Requests must be submitted four to six weeks in advance of each meeting to be considered. Community Investments ONEOK is a committed and active member in our communities with a dedicated Community Investments department to foster partnerships between our company, our employees and the community. Investing in communities where we have operations and where our employees live and work not only is the right thing to do – it’s also smart business. By contributing financially and through volunteerism, we help build stronger communities and create a better environment for our employees, customers and the general public. Primary focus areas for our community investments are arts and culture, community improvement, education, environmental, and health, and human services. sufficient. Grants and Pledges ONEOK Foundation supports programs and projects that advance community outcomes in Safety and Education. These focus areas help build strong, resilient communities and deliver lasting impact. SafetyONEOK's safety grants invest in the well-being of the community and its citizens by meeting essential needs, building resilience through safety and preparedness, and restoring public and natural spaces through engagement and stewardship.EducationONEOK's education grants support programs that empower learners of all backgrounds and build future-ready communities in areas where our employees live and work. We focus on strengthening public schools, expanding access to STEM and investing in career readiness.

Charitable organization is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.Requests must serve the needs of the communities where ONEOK operates and our employees work and live.Requests should specify a specific program, project or campaign the funds will be used to support. Requests for capital campaigns generally should not exceed 1% of the total campaign goal.

Ineligibility

Requests for general operating will not be considered.Requests from religious groups or churches will not be considered, except those that have programs and projects that benefit the broad community. No goods or services other than company recognition can be received for a grant or pledge. Foundation grants generally will not be given to private foundations. Foundation grants generally will not be given to tax-supported organizations. Foundation grants generally will not be made to organizations involved with the prevention of specific health diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc.Foundation grants generally will not be given for fund-raising walks or runs that solely benefit a specific organization or cause.Foundation grants generally will not be given to individual college preparatory schools or their foundations. Foundation grants generally will not be given to individual persons. Foundation grants will not be given to any secular or non-religious organization that has a written policy that discriminates on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability or any legally protected characteristic
