Funder: Pendleton Foundation Trust

Eligibility: Pendleton High School students interested in agriculture and animal science

Focus: Supports students involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and agricultural education

Purpose

Provides financial support for students pursuing agriculture and animal science education, with emphasis on students demonstrating leadership and communication skills through FFA involvement.

Tiah Pahl (1999 recipient):
• 2002 Pendleton High School graduate
• Attended Oregon State University (animal science)
• Accepted to College of Veterinary Medicine at OSU, graduated 2010
• 2004 Pendleton Round-Up Princess
• Credits scholarship with opening doors and enabling her to explore agriculture in the area
• Attributes FFA involvement with developing leadership and communication skills

Award Impact
