David Jon Lindberg Memorial Scholarship

Purpose
Honors the memory of David "D.J." Lindberg, a 1972 Pendleton High School graduate and 1977 Washington State University graduate with a B.S. in agricultural engineering. Lindberg's life was tragically cut short in an auto accident in April 1979.- Citizenship

Recognizes an outstanding PHS graduate who embodies the standards Lindberg set:- Original scholarship fund established following Lindberg's death in 1979
- Transferred to Pendleton Foundation Trust in 2012
- First scholarship awarded under PFT management in 2013
