Summary
The OECD Conference Sponsorship aims to enhance scientific knowledge and provide essential information to influence policy decisions on sustainable resource use in food, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. It supports international events that showcase innovative research and developments, inviting applications from scientists in these fields. The event sponsorship encourages collaboration among policymakers, industry, and academia, ensuring that research insights are effectively communicated and utilized in decision-making processes.Overview
The Co-operative Research Programme’s (“CRP”) main aim is to strengthen scientific knowledge and provide relevant scientific information and advice that will inform future policy decisions related to the sustainable use of natural resources, in the areas of food, agriculture, forests and fisheries. The objective and work of the CRP are anchored in both a policy and scientific environment in the fields of food, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, which, more than ever, are developed in a multidisciplinary environment. This happens so as to respond to the varied demands from a range of stakeholder groups with interests in these fields, and to take into account that the world is globalised and food production systems are interlinked. Events (Conferences, Workshops, Symposiums) The CRP sponsors international events to inform policy makers, industry, and the academic world about innovative research, scientific developments, and new opportunities. Applications are invited from research scientists working in agriculture, forestry or fisheries for funding towards an event (conference, workshop, symposium, etc) to take place in a member country of the Co-operative Research Programme. The aim of the Event Sponsorship scheme is to inform policy makers, industry and academia about current and future research, scientific developments and innovations in these areas. CRP Research Themes can be found here.Eligibility
