Observing Platform Repair/Equipment Funding

- Unforeseen repairs for observing platforms
- Equipment replacement for observing platforms
- Systems that cannot be supported fully by other means and might impair deployment and/or operation
Program Goals
The focus of this program is to provide funding to help cover costs of:- Eligible applicants: Academic institutions and non-profit organizations
- Award amount: Up to $8,000 requests will be considered based on funding availability
- Cost-sharing requirement: If funds allocated via this program are insufficient to cover all repair costs, applicant must demonstrate funding from other sources to fully support the need
Eligibility
- Alignment with RFP program goals
- Relevance of information/data produced by observing platform to stakeholders
- Ability to sustain operations and maintenance of asset long-term
Review Criteria
Proposals reviewed by GLOS staff to assess:- Successful applicants required to submit final report once project completed

4. Timeline for repairs, procurement, and deployment

- CV: Attach applicant's CV (up to 2 pages)
Reporting Requirements
- Successful applicants must submit final report once project is completed
