NWS Student Travel Grants The Northwest Scientific Association (NWSA) seeks applications from undergraduate (BA/BS) and graduate students (Masters or PhD) to support presenting their research in the fundamental or applied natural sciences or related fields at our 2026 annual meeting in Olympia, WA (March 23-27th, 2026).

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Student Travel Grant, applicants must be: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate (Masters or PhD) program, An NWSA student member at the time of application submission, Conducting research on one or more subjects within NWSA's broad areas of interest, and projects must be focused on the greater Northwest of North America, and Prepared to present results from their research (not just background/methods) in poster of oral format at the NWSA Annual Meeting.
