Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP)
Funder: Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
Purpose: To help address the growing demand for qualified nursing faculty by providing financial support to students pursuing advanced nursing degrees who commit to nursing education careers.
- Must be enrolled in one of Nebraska Methodist College's advanced nursing degree programs: - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - Doctor of Education (EdD)
- Must intend to become a nurse educator upon program completion
- Available to students from across the United States
Eligibility
- Coverage: Tuition, fees, and books
- Study Format: Available for part-time or full-time enrollment
- Loan Forgiveness: Students may qualify for cancellation of up to 85% of loan principal and interest in exchange for four consecutive years as a full-time faculty member at an accredited school of nursing
