NSHSS Higher Education Grant

The NSHSS Higher Education Grant, offered by the National Society of High School Scholars, provides two $2,500 awards to registered educators aiming to enhance their professional development through university courses in the upcoming academic years. This initiative supports teachers and counselors working with high school students, recognizing their vital role in shaping future leaders. Eligible candidates can apply for one grant per academic year, promoting academic growth and leadership opportunities.

NSHSS pursues this mission by connecting members with scholarships, college fairs, internships, career and leadership opportunities, partner discounts, and more.
We are honored to recognize our educators, and in order to help educators achieve their professional development goals, NSHSS is providing two (2) $2,500 awards to help with the costs of tuition and course-related expenses for teachers and counselors who are enrolling in university courses in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026. NSHSS educators are eligible to receive one NSHSS grant per academic year.

Eligibility

Any registered NSHSS Educator* that works with high school students in an academic capacity both in the US and internationally. *We invite school social workers, counselors, homeschool educators, test prep professionals, teachers, administrators, etc. to register for free as an NSHSS educator and begin applying for NSHSS grants.
