Overview

The Northern Lowcountry Grants, offered by the Coastal Community Foundation, support nonprofits in Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, and Georgetown counties. Grants up to $15,000 are available for projects focusing on arts, hospice care, and Alzheimer's-related disorders. For other initiatives, applicants may request up to $10,000.

Coastal Community Foundation is the largest community foundation in South Carolina, managing more than 700 funds established by individuals, families and organizations and awarding tens of millions of dollars in grants and scholarships each year.
Nonprofits serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester counties as well as Georgetown County arts nonprofits. If the proposal addresses one of the following areas, applicants can apply for up to $15,000:

ArtsHospice CareAlzheimer’s and related disorders.
For all other focus areas, applicants may apply for up to $10,000.
