Northern Lowcountry Grants: N.E.W. Fund (Neighborhoods Energized to Win)

The Northern Lowcountry Grants: N.E.W. Fund, supported by the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina, provides essential funding and resources to low and moderate-income neighborhoods in Charleston and Colleton Counties. The initiative aims to create strong families, safe neighborhoods, and active participation, empowering residents to influence their community's future.

This competitive program provides grants, leadership development and technical assistance to low and moderate-income neighborhoods in Charleston and Colleton Counties. Fund is designed to support self-sustaining community development, leadership, and pride within neighborhoods.
Coastal Community Foundation encourages applications from both grassroots and 501(c)3 nonprofit neighborhood organizations. Priority will be given to organizations focused on the Fund’s desired outcomes of strong and healthy families, safe and supportive neighborhoods, residential pride, active community participation and a belief in residents’ power to shape their communities.
