Program Overview:
The North Lake Tahoe Junior Lifeguard program is a 2-week introductory course designed to educate young individuals about aquatic safety and provide high-quality outdoor recreation. In alignment with Sierra State Parks Foundation's mission to educate the community, the foundation offers 10 scholarships to make the program accessible.

Target Audience:

• Ages 8-15

Program Components:

• Well-rounded education promoting teamwork, safety, and leadership
• Heightened sense of awareness and knowledge about the alpine lake's environment
• Aquatic safety education
• High-quality outdoor recreation experience
• 2-week duration
