Geographic Scope: Mango Manor residents only

A monthly grant for Mango Manor residents who do not have a car, recognizing the added expense of relying on alternative transportation.

Eligibility

• Moving into Mango Manor cooperative
• Do not own or have access to a personal vehicle
• Must be accepted by Mango Manor and going through income qualification process

Award Details

• Amount: $50 per month
• Availability: Mango Manor residents only
• Duration: Ongoing while resident at Mango Manor

Application Process

1. Complete the standard BHC cooperative housing application
2. Schedule a visit and tour of Mango Manor
3. Participate in house interview
4. Receive acceptance from Mango Manor via consensus-based decision making
5. Begin income qualification process
6. Notify staff of interest in No Car Grant during income qualification phase
7. Provide documentation of lack of vehicle ownership
