NOTE: For Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served, basis, and funds will be allocated to approved projects until depleted. DC Fast Charger applications are accepted during competitive solicitation periods only. It Pays to Plug In: NJ’s Electric Vehicle Charging Grant Program Purpose of Funding To provide grants to offset the cost of purchasing and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations. The program is designed to expand New Jersey’s growing network of electric vehicle infrastructure, allowing residents, businesses, and government agencies to purchase and drive electric vehicles. Grant Limitations For Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served, basis, and funds will be allocated to approved projects until depleted. DC Fast Charger applications are accepted during competitive solicitation periods only. The NJDEP reserves the right to limit the amount of reimbursement per applicant based on number and location of charging stations.
