The NJ Clean Vessel – Pump Out Facilities Grant Program aims to fund the construction, renovation, operation, and maintenance of pumpout and dump stations, alongside educational initiatives for boaters regarding sewage disposal. Applicants must have an approved pre-application with the Marine Trades Association, and the program supports local governments and public/private marinas, offering reimbursements up to $3,500 for marinas and $7,500 for pumpout boat operators.

Purpose of Funding
To provide funds to states for the construction, renovation, operation, and maintenance of pumpout stations and dump stations and for educational programs that inform boaters of the importance of proper disposal of their sewage.
