Funder: Theta Phi Alpha Foundation (in partnership with NGLA - Northeast Greek Leadership Association)

Geographic Scope: Northeastern US with primary focus on campuses in Northeastern US; territory expands through Pennsylvania and encompasses over 55% of Theta Phi Alpha's campuses

Program Overview: Since 2023, Theta Phi Alpha Foundation has partnered with NGLA by offering two scholarships to expand Theta Phi Alpha's attendance at the NGLA Annual Conference, which covers the student's registration. Each February, NGLA brings together collegians and professionals at an Annual Conference.

Conference Purpose: The Northeast Greek Leadership Association (NGLA) provides educational experiences and programming with the goal of helping the fraternal community align actions with values. NGLA is committed to assisting chapters to align actions with values, promoting learning, community building, values-based leadership, and overall well-being of students and professionals.

Award Information

• Coverage: Covers student's registration for NGLA Annual Conference (held in February)
• Number of Scholarships: Two scholarships offered by Theta Phi Alpha Foundation
• Dual Opportunity: One application counts toward both Theta Phi Alpha Foundation scholarships and NGLA scholarships

Selection Criteria

• Emphasis on students who might otherwise be unable to attend
• Academic performance and service considerations
• Scholarship applicants are eligible for scholarships provided by NGLA

Eligibility

• Membership: Initiated sisters of Theta Phi Alpha
