Academic Scholarships

Geographic Scope: Theta Phi Alpha chapters (primarily US-based)

Theta Phi Alpha Foundation's original purpose remains a core focus today: offering scholarships to Theta Phi Alpha Sisters. Scholarships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students. These academic scholarships can assist students with their tuition, college or university fees, books, and on-campus housing.

Award Selection Criteria

Recipients are selected upon evaluation of:

• Academic performance
• Financial need
• Service to Theta Phi Alpha
• Service to campus
• Service to community

Eligibility Requirements

• Membership Status: Initiated members in good standing, both academically and financially
• Membership Type: Available for undergraduate and graduate students
• Initiation: Must be an initiated member of Theta Phi Alpha

Application Process

Application Platform: Member Portal at myThetaPhi

Deadline: Complete application on or prior to the deadline (specific date not provided in materials)

Required Materials:
1. Application form, including personal statement on how you exemplify the values of Theta Phi Alpha (2,500 characters or fewer)
2. College transcripts
3. FAFSA form
4. Expected Family Contribution (EFC) form
5. Recommendation letter completed by an advisor, faculty member, or manager (you will need to provide their email address)
6. For undergraduates: Chapter Advisor's name and email address
