Netflix Producers Program

Overview: A year-long training program designed to support Native producers in advancing their careers in the entertainment industry.

Purpose

Creating pathways for Native writers, directors, and producers by providing resources and opportunities to succeed. The program addresses the historical exclusion of Native peoples from creative processes in the entertainment industry.

  • Cohort Size: 8 fellows selected from approximately 400 applicants

Eight fellows were selected including representatives from: Pueblos of Pojoaque, Cherokee, Neets'aii Gwich'in, Blackfeet, Yurok, Chickasaw, Oglala Lakota, and Kanaka Maoli nations.
