Summary

The NESOT Fall Meeting Oral Presentation Award, sponsored by the Society of Toxicology, recognizes outstanding presentations by students in the Northeast. Up to four students will be selected to present their research, with one receiving a $1,000 prize for the best oral presentation. Eligible candidates must be NESOT members affiliated with institutions in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, or Vermont. Previous winners of the oral award may not compete but can participate in the poster competition.

Overview

Society of Toxicology Founded in 1961, the Society of Toxicology (SOT) is a professional and scholarly organization of scientists from academic institutions, government, and industry representing the great variety of scientists who practice toxicology in the US and abroad. The Society’s mission is to create a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology. NESOT Fall Meeting Oral Presentation Award Description Up to four students (graduate, undergraduate, and post-baccalaureate trainees) will be selected to give a 15-minute presentation at the Northeast Regional Chapter Fall Meeting. One student will be selected as the winner for the best oral presentation and win $1,000. Last year’s winner of the oral award is not eligible to compete for this year’s award but is eligible to compete in the poster competition.

Ineligibility

Last year’s winner of the oral award is not eligible to compete for this year’s award.
