NOTE: Please complete the Student Travel Reimbursement Form, within two weeks of the meeting and with receipts attached, and email to the Secretary/Treasurer.The American Physical Society is a nonprofit membership organization working to advance physics by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and global community dedicated to science and society. APS represents more than 50,000 members, including physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and around the world. The New England Section of the American Physical Society (APS-NES), established in 1932, is a network of Physicists from Academia, Industry, Government and individuals interested in Physics and related subjects. Its goal is to promote, disseminate and advance the knowledge and application of physics in the New England region of the United States. Membership in the APS-NES is open to all American Physical Society members. The New England Section strongly encourages the active participation of students (undergraduates and graduates) in its meetings. Student presenters (first authors) may be reimbursed for meeting costs through student travel awards: up to $400 for registration fees, banquet tickets, hotels, meals, and travel to and from the meeting.
