Mission: Near & Far Aid's mission is to support men, women and children living in poverty, by meeting their day-to-day needs and providing long-term solutions for a better future.

Focus Area: Impoverished communities in Fairfield County, Connecticut

Funding Focus Areas

Near & Far Aid supports agencies and programs in three main areas:

1. Emergency Services - Food, shelter and clothing for those lacking access to basic necessities
2. Economic Security - Job training, financial literacy, affordable housing, and support services for the working poor to achieve self-sufficiency
3. Education and Support - Safe spaces for children to learn and thrive, protective services, and educational programs regardless of zip code

• Total Grants: $1,188,500
  • $1,161,500 in grants to 109 agency programs
  • $27,000 in special gifts to 5 agencies
