NCTNA Member's Carolina Connection Grant Program

Overview: A grant program designed to support North Carolina healthcare providers by providing essential funds for projects aligned with NCTNA's mission to enhance accessibility to high-speed, reliable broadband and ensure equitable improvements in affordability and access to care.

Geographic Scope: North Carolina

Eligible Applicants:

  • Non-profit and public healthcare providers

  • Must have broadband service through NCTNA (signed subscription agreement and membership agreement required; service does not need to have started yet)
  • Focus Areas:
    Projects related to broadband and patient care, including:

  • Consulting Services or Cyber Security Assessments

  • Technical or IT-related equipment (computers, tablets, etc.)

  • HIPAA Security Audits

  • Train-the-Trainer Sessions

  • Administrative Services

  • Telehealth Assessments
  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have broadband service through NCTNA

  • Must demonstrate a need at organization that is related to broadband and patient care

  • Patient care includes supporting functions for Healthcare Providers
  • Mission: To light the path toward access to care for all by providing essential funds for projects that enhance accessibility to high-speed, reliable broadband and foster innovation and collaboration within the healthcare landscape of North Carolina.
