Project Name: Enhancing the Young Adolescent Female Well-Care Visit
Purpose: Facilitate more open and honest conversations about sensitive topics during female well-care visits and improve HPV vaccination rates
Number of Awards: Ten school-based health centers will be selected
Eligible Applicants: SBHCs that provide the HPV vaccine
Project Activities:
- Pilot-test and validate "Thinking About Good Health" young adolescent female Well-Care Visit tools
- Implement patient self-assessment questionnaire
- Use provider checklist
- Focus on improving HPV vaccination rates
