Project Name: Enhancing the Young Adolescent Female Well-Care Visit

Purpose: Facilitate more open and honest conversations about sensitive topics during female well-care visits and improve HPV vaccination rates

Award Amount: $1,000 per SBHC

Number of Awards: Ten school-based health centers will be selected

Eligible Applicants: SBHCs that provide the HPV vaccine

Project Activities:

  • Pilot-test and validate "Thinking About Good Health" young adolescent female Well-Care Visit tools

  • Implement patient self-assessment questionnaire

  • Use provider checklist

  • Focus on improving HPV vaccination rates
