NALMS Achievement Awards: Jim Flynn Outstanding Corporation Award Grant

The Jim Flynn Outstanding Corporation Award, presented annually by NALMS, honors the corporation that has made significant contributions to advancing lake management goals. This award emphasizes the importance of facilitating information exchange, promoting public awareness of lake ecosystems, and supporting management programs at all levels. Eligible nominations can come from any individual or entity, focusing on achievements in lake and reservoir management. Notably, current NALMS board members and awards committee members are excluded from eligibility.

The Jim Flynn Outstanding Corporation Award is given annually to recognize and honor the corporation considered to have made the most significant contributions to NALMS goals and objectives.
Facilitate the exchange of information on the technical and administrative aspects of managing lakes and their watersheds.Promote public awareness of lake ecosystems.Encourage public support for national, state or provincial, and local programs promoting management of lakes and their watersheds.Provide guidance to public and private agencies involved in or planning management activities for lakes and their watersheds.Improve the professional status of all persons engaged in any aspect of managing lakes and their watersheds.Identify needs and encourage research on lake ecology and watershed management.

Eligibility

Any individual or entity may submit nominations.Nominations should address how individuals or teams contribute among a variety of lake and reservoir management areas.
You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Recipient must be a NALMS member.

Ineligibility

Current NALMS board members, and members of the NALMS Awards Committee are not eligible for nomination.
