Financial support for families requiring immediate assistance on their autism journey.

Geographic Scope: Service area includes counties around Charlotte, Raleigh, and Asheville, North Carolina (Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Alexander, Catawba, Cleveland, Rowan, Stanley, Durham, Orange, Wake, Chatham, Franklin, Buncombe, Henderson) and South Carolina (York, Lancaster, Chester, Chesterfield).

Focus Areas: The grant helps cover and connect families with:

• Newly Diagnosed – Starting Therapy for First Time
• Expert Autism Diagnosis
• Education
• Advocacy Services
• Debt Relief for past-due therapy balances

Eligibility:

• Must reside in service area
• Must have an autism diagnosis or referral to diagnosis
• Financial aid through Autism Strong is limited to one grant per child per calendar year
