About Us Four County Community Foundation is a non-profit community organization, created by and for the people of the communities we serve. We are here to make a positive impact on our community. We provide services to the villages and cities of southeastern Lapeer County, western St. Clair County, northern Macomb County, and northeastern Oakland County. Our Mission Four County Community Foundation is committed to serving the current and emerging needs of our local community, continuing the tradition of philanthropy begun generations ago. The Foundation is dedicated to bringing together human and financial resources to support progressive ideas in education, health, community, youth and adult programs. The Foundation provides a secure, flexible vehicle for individuals, families, foundations and organizations to positively impact the quality of life in our community. The Foundation recognizes that in order to meet its commitments to the community it serves it must seek growth through its permanent endowment funds from a wide range of donors. Communities We Serve Four County Community Foundation provides services to non-profit organizations, schools, and governmental agencies located in: Oakland County – Addison, Brandon, Oakland, Orion, and Oxford townshipsLapeer County – Almont, Attica, Dryden, Metamora, and Imlay townshipsSt. Clair County – Berlin, Emmett, Mussey, and Riley townshipsMacomb County – Armada, Bruce, Ray, Richmond, Shelby, and Washington townships Notification of a Scholarship Award Students who are selected to receive a scholarship award will be invited, along with their guests, to the Foundation Scholarship Celebration in May. Awardees will also be announced at each high school awards event in May. Murdie Educational Scholarship (HS and PHS) Open to seniors and recent graduates in Dryden, Almont, and Imlay City who are planning to major in a human-health or animal-health field. Must attend a college or university in MI. Financial need is a consideration. Students are eligible receive up to four awards. Essay response. GPA ≥ 2.75 Award amount: $1000 - $4000
