Program Description

The MPMA Education Foundation offers annual scholarships to help motivated students with an interest in manufacturing receive crucial training and education. The foundation was formed to address the shortage of people entering the manufacturing field by supporting students, school technical programs, and educational institutions.

• Award Amount: Up to $2,000 per student

Eligibility

• Students interested in manufacturing careers
• Both traditional and non-traditional students eligible
• Not exclusive to new high school graduates—career changers and those seeking additional skills welcome
• Students pursuing degrees or certificates in manufacturing-related fields (CNC machining, machine tool technology, welding, quality assurance, etc.)

The Foundation:
• Awards scholarships to help motivated students with manufacturing interest get needed training
• Coordinates community and industry support to launch technical education programs
• Supports one high school at a time to expand manufacturing education at a fast pace
