Mother’s Industry Support Fund Grant

The Mother's Industry Support Fund Grant provides crucial financial assistance to hospitality workers in the Springfield Metro area who are facing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic or other disasters. Eligible applicants can receive support for reemployment costs or basic living expenses, with grants ranging up to $750. This initiative aims to alleviate financial burdens and ensure that affected workers can meet their essential needs during challenging times.

The Mother's Industry Support Fund seeks to support hospitality employees in the Springfield Metro area who have been impacted and are unable to afford expenses related to either reemployment (ie: uniforms, shoes, etc.) or basic living expenses (utilities, rent, mortgage, etc.) due to one of the following:

• COVID-19 pandemicWorkplace closure related to a disaster such as fire, tornado, flood, severe storms or earthquake.
• Requests should not exceed $250 with a maximum cap of $750 per person.

Eligibility

You must be a hospitality worker in the Springfield Metro area. (Restaurant, bar, hotel, entertainment venue with liquor license, or movie theater with liquor license. If your industry is not listed, please inquire before applying.)You have immediate need for assistance with basic living expenses (such as shelter, utilities, or other bills) or with purchasing items related to starting a new job.Supporting documentation/invoices must be attached below for consideration.

Ineligibility

Distributions may not be made payable to individuals, but to invoice only (utility bill, rent/mortgage invoice, phone bill, etc.)
