Montgomery County Community Foundation Grant

The Montgomery County Community Foundation Grant, established in 1998, supports community projects in areas such as civic engagement, health, education, and culture. With two application cycles each year, this grant aims to enhance the quality of life in Montgomery County through impactful projects. Applicants must submit their proposals online by the deadline, as no extensions are granted. Funding can be utilized for capital support or specific program activities.

NOTE: This grant has two application cycles per year — Spring and Fall. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on the deadline date. All submissions must be made online. No extensions are granted for deadlines that fall on weekends or holidays. Awarded funds must be fully expended toward the project by this date.
The Montgomery County Community Foundation, working in partnership with the Red Oak Heritage Foundation, aims to improve the quality of life in Montgomery County by supporting community needs in the areas of civic engagement, culture, health, education, and social services. The objective of its grant programs is to fund projects that will have a permanent impact on, and in, Montgomery County. As an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation, the Montgomery County Community Foundation was established in 1998.
Areas of Support
Capital Support (Items of Permanence) – Grants for capital support enable the purchase of equipment, completion of brick-and-mortar building projects, or physical renovations to a space.
Program Support – Grants for program support fund a specific, connected set of activities with a beginning and an end, explicit objectives, and a predetermined cost.
