Harrison County Community Foundation Grant

The Harrison County Community Foundation Grant, established in 1997, seeks to enhance the quality of life in Harrison County through funding projects in civic engagement, culture, health, education, and social services. With two application cycles annually, the foundation supports both capital and program projects that aim for lasting community impact. All grant applications must be submitted online by the specified deadline, with no extensions granted for weekends or holidays.

NOTE: This grant has two application cycles per year — Spring and Fall. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on the deadline date. All submissions must be made online. No extensions are granted for deadlines that fall on weekends or holidays. Awarded funds must be fully expended toward the project by this date.
The Harrison County Community Foundation aims to improve the quality of life in Harrison County by supporting community needs in the areas of civic engagement, culture, health, education, and social services. The objective of its grant programs is to fund projects that will have a permanent impact on, and in, Harrison County. As an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation, the Harrison County Community Foundation was established in 1997.
Areas of Support
Capital Support (Items of Permanence) – Grants for capital support enable the purchase of equipment, completion of brick-and-mortar building projects, or physical renovations to a space.
Program Support – Grants for program support fund a specific, connected set of activities with a beginning and an end, explicit objectives, and a predetermined cost.
