Purpose: Financial support for individuals interested in obtaining their CNA license and pursuing a career at St. John's United

Award Details

• Number of Awards: 7 scholarships available per year
• Amount: $450 per year
• Distribution: Before the start of the St. John's CNA class

Eligibility

• Interested in obtaining CNA license
• Committed to pursuing a career at St. John's United
• Must complete the CNA class and meet employment requirements

Terms and Conditions

• Failure to complete the CNA class and meet employment requirements will result in scholarship revocation
• Revoked scholarships must be paid back in full
• Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee scholarship award
• Funds are limited

Recipient Selection

• Scholarship Committee reviews applications
• Committee determines most qualified recipients
• Finalists may be asked for in-person interview
• Recipients notified in writing
• Recipients must send acknowledgment/thank you upon notification
• Recipients publicized in Board materials, local media, and St. John's publications

Application Process

1. Obtain Application Form
   • Request from Human Resources office

2. Complete Application
   • Ensure all required information is included
   • Demonstrate interest in CNA license and St. John's career
   • Incomplete applications will not be considered
3. Submit to Human Resources
   • Mail or drop off at: St. John's United Human Resources, Attn: Education Scholarship/Reimbursement Program, 2429 Mission Way, Billings, MT 59102
4. Committee Review
   • Scholarship Committee reviews and evaluates applications
   • Finalists may be asked for in-person interview
5. Notification
   • Recipients notified in writing
   • Scholarships awarded before start of St. John's CNA class
   • Must send acknowledgment/thank you upon notification
6. Post-Award Requirements
   • Must successfully complete CNA class
   • Must meet St. John's employment requirements
   • Failure to do so requires full repayment of scholarship
