What is a Modernization Grant? Modernization Grants support Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways aligned with High-Wage, High-Demand (H2) Career Pathways, identified by the Arkansas Department of Education, by modernizing the equipment from the minimum equipment list for a given pathway. Grant awards are designated solely for enhancing equipment within an already established pathway. Grant Funding Schools receiving a Modernization Grant will receive 85% of the cost to upgrade the equipment within a pre-existing pathway based on the minimum equipment list provided. The district is responsible for 15% of the implementation cost based on the minimum equipment list provided.
