Program Description
Wounded Warriors Family Support provides vehicle grants to combat-wounded Purple Heart veterans to help them achieve freedom and independence in their daily lives. The program partners with the EOD Warrior Foundation and Driver Rehabilitation Center of Excellence to identify eligible veterans and address individual mobility needs.- Combat-wounded Purple Heart veterans
- Veterans with service-connected disabilities requiring mobility assistance
- Priority given to those with amputations and significant mobility challenges
Eligibility
- New Ford vehicles (Explorers, F-250 trucks, Broncos, GMC Sierras, etc.)
- Adaptive equipment grants in partnership with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- Driver rehabilitation services

- Six EOD warriors awarded vehicles through 2021 partnership
