The foundation funds prevention education programs focusing on:

• Understanding consent
• Establishing and respecting boundaries
• Conflict resolution
• Bystander intervention training
• Recognizing unhealthy relationships

Eligible Applicants:

• Schools (K-12 and higher education)
• School systems
• Nonprofit organizations
• Community colleges and universities

Award Amounts: Variable (recent awards range from $266.25 to $39,000)

Program Requirements:

• Implementation of prevention education curriculum
• Must include specific dates of implementation with start and end dates
• Defined target audience and gender demographics
• Specified number of programs/sessions and student participation numbers
• Collaboration with campus organizations encouraged

Evaluation & Reporting Expectations:
Grantees must:

• Administer post-program surveys to measure changes in knowledge, attitudes, or awareness
• Track program participation and attendance throughout grant period
• Report number of individuals in attendance at each session
• Report estimated audience size for larger events
• Submit interim and/or final grant reporting

Required Materials:

• Brief narrative (no more than one page) describing:
  • How prevention education will be implemented
  • Composition of implementation team
  • Evidence-based curricula to be used
• For school/school system applicants: Letter of endorsement signed by principal (school-level) or superintendent (school system-level)
• For school/school system applicants: Email address of principal or superintendent for grant award notification
• Certification that applicant has read and understands MMF grant guidelines and application complies with those guidelines
• Acknowledgment of reporting expectations (post-program surveys and tracking program reach)
