Overview
MJF Special Project Grants
Overview: Special Project Grants are made on an individual basis to support discrete, innovative projects targeting specific areas of need.
- Educating communities about the law or the legal community about access to justice
- Establishing new legal aid or self-help law clinics
- Advocating on specific legal issues affecting low-income or disadvantaged Montanans
- Creating or revising pro se legal forms
- Promoting increased pro bono service among the legal community
- Making judicial processes more accessible or consistent
- Any other project designed to further MJF's charitable objectives
Eligible Project Examples
Priority Focus
Priority will be given to project proposals that demonstrate a strong likelihood of having a lasting, sustainable impact in underserved communities.Geographic Scope
