Minority Business Funding Program

Status: Future program (pilot expected to launch within the next 12 months as of page publication)

Overview: NIVF will provide seed funding for an annual cohort of new venue operators and/or promoters with minority status.

Geographic Scope: National

Focus Areas:

  • Supporting new venue operators

  • Supporting new promoters

  • Minority business development in live entertainment
  • Eligibility:
    Applicants must have minority status, including:

  • BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)

  • Women-owned businesses

  • Veteran-owned businesses

  • Disabled-owned businesses

  • LGBTQI+ owned businesses
  • Requirements:

  • Submit a full business plan

  • Submit financial projections

  • Provide professional history
  • Program Includes:

  • Seed funding for selected cohort members

  • Monthly mentorship by successful venue operator/promoter within NIVA

  • Monthly review with the funding board

    - Selected applicants will be mentored by a successful venue operator/promoter within NIVA
