Overview
Minority Business Funding Program
NIVF will provide seed funding for an annual cohort of new venue operators and/or promoters with minority status.
Geographic Scope: National
Focus Areas:
- Supporting new venue operators
- Supporting new promoters
- Minority business development in live entertainment
Eligibility:
Applicants must have minority status, including:
- BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)
- Women-owned businesses
- Veteran-owned businesses
- Disabled-owned businesses
- LGBTQI+ owned businesses
Requirements:
- Submit a full business plan
- Submit financial projections
- Provide professional history
Program Includes:
- Seed funding for selected cohort members
- Monthly mentorship by successful venue operator/promoter within NIVA
- Monthly review with the funding board
