Primary Care Residency Grant Program The Primary Care Residency Grant program provides funding to expand the training of primary care physicians. Funds will be awarded after a competitive review process. Eligible, accredited residency programs must be located in Minnesota and must train students in one of the following primary care specialties: family medicine, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, psychiatry (including child psychiatry fellowships), geriatrics, or general surgery.
