Mini Grants

Overview: The Mini Grant is designed to create healthy eating, active living, and/or mental health/resiliency projects that are tailored to a community's needs.

Award Amount: $250 – $2,500 per project

Status: Competitive awards

Geographic Scope: Wilkes County, North Carolina

Funding Focus:

  • Healthy eating projects

  • Active living projects

  • Mental health/resiliency projects

  • Community-based homegrown projects

  • Where we live, learn, work, play and pray influence our health - partner with the foundation to create projects to help the community feel better and live healthier
  • Eligibility:

  • Generally limited to non-profit organizations with tax exempt status or governmental entities

  • Programs and services must meet an identified health care need in the community

  • The foundation does not fund organizations or programs that require participation in a particular religion in order to receive services
  • Application Periods:

  • April 3 – May 8, 2026
