Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity Grant

The Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity is a four-year renewable award aimed at high school seniors and first-time college freshmen who demonstrate exceptional innovation and creativity. Unlike traditional scholarships that prioritize academic achievement, this scholarship seeks to reward students who have solved problems creatively, whether in the arts, sciences, or community challenges. It encourages innovative thinkers from Connecticut or New York City to pursue their higher education goals.

The Milton Fisher Scholarship is a four-year renewable scholarship open to exceptionally Innovative and Creative high school seniors and first-time college freshmen.
This scholarship is not a traditional scholarship focused on rewarding academic achievement and financial need. Its specific goal is to reward and encourage innovative and creative problem solving. The scholarship aims to honor students who excel as creative problem-solvers and to help make their higher education goals more accessible.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants to the Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity must satisfy these two conditions:Applicant must a high school senior or a student in the first year of an undergraduate degree program.Applicant must be (a) a Connecticut or New York City metropolitan area resident planning to attend or attending an institution of higher education anywhere in the United States, or (b) a resident of any part of the U.S. planning to attend or attending an institution of higher education in CT or NYC.Apply for this scholarship if you are . . .a student who has solved an artistic, scientific, or technical problem in a new or unusual way, ora student who has come up with a distinctive solution to problems faced by your school, community or family.The scholarship may be used to support only tuition, room and board (unless your college's financial aid office has a process for allowing financial aid to cover books purchased at the college bookstore, in which case you may use it for that, as well).
